Each Brooch Bouquet produced by Phyllis Beard is an investment strengthened by her reputation as an artist. She designs and builds limited edition Brooch Bouquets, exclusively. As all pieces of collectible art, each one is signed and numbered. An heirloom to be shared through the generations.
The bouquets by “My Crystal Keepsake” are custom designed using a mix of vintage and contemporary broach’s. Each piece is tailored to the bride’s expressed wishes, with attention to color, size, symmetry, proportion, and possibly personal pieces you may want to add.
“My Crystal Keepsake” has two patents for the uniquely manufactured light armature making the bouquets the perfect weight for the feminine hand. A light plastic satin-cover enclosure obscures the intricate work holding each handpicked brooch in place.
All of her life, designer Phyllis Beard has worked with her hands, not only creating classical museum art but also decorative keepsake heirlooms. As an experienced artist, Phyllis has created one-of-a-kind pieces, and her most recent passion has been the Brooch Bouquets initially made for friends and family.
She frequents a host of flea markets, antique shows and auctions to hand pick the most expressively beautiful brooches. Phillip Lawson Johnston, commissioned by the queen, will hand etch Phyllis’s initials on glass buttons to punctuate each Bouquet.
Brooch bouquets are popular for Weddings and Hope Chests, but keep them in mind for other milestones as well. A small bouquet is perfect for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Debutante Balls, Retirement Keepsakes, Proms, Birthdays, Actor/Actress Honorary Presentation, and First Communion. Larger ones are ideal for Brides, Bridesmaids, Recitals, Graduations, Renewal of Vowels, and many other congratulatory or commemorative events.
The prototypes showcased on this site are for sale as available. Contact Phyllis to discuss a custom piece. Brooches from your own personal collection may be incorporated in your personalized bouquet.
